Former Great Oaks instructor charged with rape

A former Great Oaks Career Campuses instructor was indicted on May 20 by the Clermont County grand jury for rape.

Gary Youmans, 69, of Milford, was charged with six counts of gross sexual imposition and three counts of rape.

He was an instructor at Great Oaks from 2007 to 2017, confirmed Jon Weidlich, director of community relations for Great Oaks Career Campuses. The sun.

Youmans worked as an instructor for Construction, Framing and Finishing, a certified program giving students college credit.

He previously worked at Cecil County Public Schools in Maryland as a carpentry teacher from 2000 to 2007.

According to the indictment, three counts of gross sexual imposition occurred from April 2019 to July 2019; a count took place from March 2015 to July 2019; and two counts took place from September 2012 to November 2012.

Regarding the alleged rape charges, one count took place from May 2018 to September 2018; a count from April 2019 to July 2019; and a count from May 2018 to July 2019.

The indictment states that the victims are under the age of 13 on all of the alleged counts.

“There are two victims. Neither victim was a student at Great Oaks, where the defendant was an instructor,” said Stephanie Ross, an administrator with the Clermont County District Attorney’s Office. The sun.

Two weeks ago, Youmans said he moved to Delaware, according to social media posts.
