Christmas rate at the grand reopening of Classy Crafts

Fay Williams chats with local author Marilyn J Bakker about her exciting trilogy of adventures.

Classy Crafters didn’t sit idle during what seemed like an endless lockdown.

Instead, like busy elves, they worked hard to create unique Christmas gifts to delight shoppers of all ages; exciting new wooden animals, succulent arrangements and eye-catching terrariums, beaded jewelry, attractive funky earrings, a special Christmas Sammy Two Shoes offer, gorgeous hand-knitted shawls, sewn-in household items handmade, handcrafted greeting cards and more.

Our site at the Picton Center, just behind Bayleys Real Estate, is nice and comfortable. Classy Crafts has been around for over 11 years, and although there are many repeat customers, some locals are surprised and delighted to ‘experience’ this covered market for the first time.

So if you are a beginner just follow the bright red Classy Crafts signage on Picton Street and you will find a warm welcome, unique gift ideas, and friendly artisans to help you out.

For your safety, the principles of Covid will apply, with face masks and vaccine passports required for usual electronic and manual entry and login, and handwashing readily available.
