SHANGHAI, China – September 13, 2021 – The Chinese National Textile and Clothing Council (CNTAC) has officially released the “Method for Testing and Evaluating Rinseability of Disposable Sanitary Nonwoven Materials.” “(GB / T 40181-2021).
The standards apply to biodegradable and dispersible disposable sanitary nonwovens and specify the method of testing and evaluation.
American Hygienics Corporation (AHC) played a leading role in the drafting, whose development team explored the innovations and developments of non-woven material applications and eco-sustainable solutions.
“We have learned a lot from what is happening in more advanced markets where they have encountered issues of mislabelling such products that do not comply with regulations or make a false declaration,” said Nilesh Parmar, CEO and Founder from American Hygienics. Corp. “There were no real flushing regulations, so standards are needed for future growth. With an appropriate standard in place, the industry will be regulated and monitored. I am extremely honored that AHC and my team can be a part of it, and we are confident that this standard may soon be widely adopted.
The new standard will have a significant impact on the manufacturing and innovation of wet wipes, it has also posed great opportunities in product needs and immense challenges in exploring new models of industry practice.
