Kye says, “It’s pretty simple to make, so it could be a great catwalk knitting project to start in a time like now. Try personalizing the front with your own initials too.”

Knit your own awesome scarf with Strateas Carlucci
Melbourne-based brand Strateas Carlucci has a long history of using merino wool. As part of the Home Knitting Series, Carlucci offers a free knitting pattern for its Python Scarf. Measuring 4.3 meters in length, this super merino wool scarf uses an open chunky knit and is ideal for social distancing.

“We love how it wraps and stacks around your neck,” say Peter Strateas and Mario-Luca Carlucci. “We also love it because it’s knitted from Australian merino wool, which regulates temperature and is really soft on the skin, it’s a great natural fiber. It keeps you warm too.”
